Visitax Payment Portal – The Easiest and Most Convenient Way to Pay Your Tourist Tax OnlineVisitax Payment Portal – The Easiest and Most Convenient Way to Pay Your Tourist Tax Online

If you’re planning to visit the Riviera Maya in 2024 or beyond, you should be aware of a new mandatory tourist tax known as “Visitax” that must be paid by all international travelers entering Quintana Roo. The easiest and most convenient way to pay this fee is online before your trip.

The Visitax payment portal is easy to use and takes only minutes to complete. All you need is a valid passport and an email address to receive your payment confirmation. It’s important to note that this fee is separate from the Mexican Departure tax included in your airline ticket and the Environmental taxes collected at most all-inclusive resorts.

How To Apply And Get Your Tourist Receipt

Once you’ve completed the online process, you will be redirected to a confirmation page where you can print your receipt. You can also save the QR code to your smartphone so you can easily show it at the airport when you arrive, if needed. The Visitax fee is currently not included in your airline tickets or hotel bookings, but some airlines (American & Delta) are starting to include statements about it in their pre-departure emails to clients. The same is true for TUI which is including information about the Visitax fee on their Mexico travel advice site.

It’s also worth noting that the official government VISITAX website is sometimes slow or does not always work correctly. For this reason we recommend using the RESELLER LINK below which uses the same secure platform as the official site but is much faster and more reliable.
